On this page, you will learn about the shipping requirements that apply to Small Parcel deliveries to Amazon Fulfilment Centres.
IMPORTANT: Failure to comply with FBA product preparation requirements, safety requirements and product restrictions may result in the refusal of inventory at the Amazon fulfilment centre, disposal or return of inventory, blocking of future shipments to the fulfilment centre, or charging for preparation or for non-compliance at the fulfilment centre. Please share these requirements with your carrier or supplier to ensure that they are fully understood and adhered to.
Print the full set of labels. Each label is unique; so do not photocopy, reuse, or modify labels for use on additional boxes.
All small-parcel delivery boxes must have shipment labels.
Do not include messaging on shipment labels or other labels
applied to the box.
Shipment labels must be consistently placed in a way that is
easy to visually locate, either on the top or side of the box.
Side placement is preferred.
Shipment labels must not be placed on the seam of the
container where they can be damaged when the carton is opened or
distorted, so the barcodes are not scannable.
Whenever possible, place shipping labels no closer than 1.25"
from any natural edge of the container and in such a way that the
tape used in sealing the container does not cover any barcodes or
other critical information.

Important Note: All carriers need to supply
evidence that goods were handed over to the designated Amazon
fulfilment centre. Proof is provided by a time stamp for drop-off
at Amazon premises and the signature or name of an Amazon employee.
Bill of Lading
When there are two or more orders shipping from the same pick-up location to the same Amazon fulfilment centre and the required delivery date is the same, consolidate orders into one shipment with one Bill of Lading.
Bill of Lading must reference all Amazon Reference IDs (POs) contained in the shipment. Amazon Reference IDs are found on the 'View an Existing Shipment' page.
Bill of Lading must include carton and pallet quantities per shipment.
Whenever possible, the Merchant should include the Bill of Lading number on the carton or pallet label. This allows for quick freight verification upon delivery at an Amazon fulfilment centre.
It is important to mention the complete weight of the boxes included in the shipment.
If shipping other customers' orders to an Amazon fulfilment centre, a separate Bill of Lading must be created. Do not combine Amazon and other customers' orders in the same shipment.
Original Bill of Lading information must be made available to the carrier in order for the carrier to arrange advanced delivery appointment.
