Return policy for heavy and bulky products for MFN in Major Appliances and Sports categories

The below returns policy is applicable for Large Appliances (Air conditioners, Dishwashers, Refrigerator, Washing machines, Microwaves and Chimneys), Bicycles, Furniture and Heavy Fitness Products (including Treadmills, Fitness Bikes, Elliptical Trainers).

This policy is applicable in case of C-Return requests of MFN products for Heavy and Bulky products for ASIN belonging to the below product categories:

  • Large Appliances (Air conditioners, Dishwashers, Refrigerator, Washing machines, Microwaves and Chimneys).
  • Bicycles.
  • Furniture.
  • Heavy Fitness Products (Treadmills, Fitness Bikes, Elliptical Trainers).

To verify if the policy is applicable or not, check the following details:


  1. ASIN belongs to the below product categories:
    • Large Appliances (Air conditioners, Dishwashers, Refrigerator, Washing machines, Microwaves and Chimneys).
    • Bicycles.
    • Furniture.
    • Heavy Fitness Products (Treadmills, Fitness Bikes, Elliptical Trainers).
  2. Product is fulfilled by Seller.
  3. Product is damaged or defective or has missing parts or is not, as per description on detail page.
  4. Customer has contacted within 10 days of delivery of the product.

Below is the policy that needs to be actioned:

  • Buyers are not obligated to provide additional information to return an order unless otherwise noted in the category specific policy.
  • In case of a product mismatch, Seller will need to replace the product at no extra cost. If a replacement is not possible, Seller will process a refund on customer order in accordance with Amazon.in Refund Policy.
  • In case of any missing or damaged parts, Seller will send a replacement part at no extra cost. In case shipping of the missing part is not possible, customer can either opt for a part refund for the missing part or issue a replacement at no extra cost. If a replacement is not possible, Seller will process a refund on customer order in accordance with Amazon.in Refund Policy.
  • In the above cases, even after a replacement, if a customer again receives a damaged product, a customer can claim a refund and Seller will need to process a refund on customer order in accordance with Amazon.in Refund Policy. Seller must accept returns using their own network from all PIN codes he/she has configured to deliver for all the above products.
