The Consignment Creation Workflow allows you to create a consignment to our fulfilment centres in these 6 easy steps:
FBA has product preparation requirements that must be followed in order for units to be received at Amazon fulfilment centres. From Prepare Product you can review Amazon provided Preparation Guidance. If you have questions about the guidance provided, please contact Seller Support for selected products in your plan based on the Preparation Category they belong to. A list of these products can be displayed using the Preparation required filter tab. Preparation Guidance provides instructions for packaging and protecting your products.
If you know the Preparation Category for products with no Preparation Guidance available, you can assign a Preparation Category by clicking the Choose preparation link in the Preparation Guidance column and selecting from a list of Preparation Categories that best suits your product. If you determine that a product does not need any additional prep, you can leave the category blank or select No preparation needed. Prep Categories include:
Preparation Category | Description and Examples | Prep Video Tutorial |

The Prep required tab on the Prepare Products page displays the prep guidance for items that have known preparation requirements.
If you feel the specific prep requirement for the product you have listed is not appropriate or essential, click Investigate to start a review of the prep requirement for that item.

Products that require taping need to be sealed in some fashion. This tape is in addition to any taping that might normally be required, for example, taping a box shut, securing bubble wrap around an item, or sealing a poly bag.

Click the Prep may be required tab to view products for which the prep guidance is unknown. This may be because the product hasn't been sent in before, or hasn't been previously classified as having a specific prep requirement.
