It is a declaration provided by the business/international sellers as a proof of tax residence, stating that they do not have a permanent establishment in India.
This document needs to be renewed on annual basis by seller, failure to do so would lead to selling restriction on Amazon.in platform.
No PE document is a mandatory requirement for international sellers with no permanent establishment in India to start selling on Amazon India marketplace
No PE document is relevant to the specific financial year for which it is provided and hence needs to be renewed on annual basis before the end of each financial year. Financial year in India is from April to March.
The No PE document renewal process is a one-step process. Please check your mail for details on the renewal process.
In case a seller fails to renew their No PE document, they would be restricted to sell on Amazon until sellers renew their No PE document.
