LED/LCD/Plasma Televisions

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), the Government of India (GOI) has notified that the sale of LED/LCD/Plasma Televisions are to be safety tested and certified under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS).

Amazon's policies require that LED/LCD/Plasma Televisions sold through the Amazon India website need to meet specified certification standards. In order to sell these products on Amazon, you must apply by submitting the following details to

  • Marketplace you wish to sell the products
  • Company name
  • Seller ID
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • A list of ASINs you are applying to sell
  • BIS CRS mark logo with Registration number shall be displayed on product detail
  • BIS Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) certificate issued to the product tested as per the below given standards:
