Baby food means any food (by whatever name called) being marketed or
otherwise represented to be consumed by babies, toddlers, tots, crawlers, sitters, supported
sitters, little ones, except infant food.

These foods can be in any form, ready to eat, or requiring reconstitution or cooking. These can be a grain mix, puree, liquids, semi-solid, powder and so on.
Baby foods are vegetable purees, fruit purees, vegetable and fruit purees, heterogenous (cereal, fruit, vegetable and so on) food mixtures when cereal content is less than 75%.
As per Amazon policy, baby food sold on Amazon must meet the specified certification standards. To sell these products on Amazon, you must apply and submit the following, by email, to: firstname.lastname@example.org:
Your company name
Your seller ID / merchant token
Your contact information (email address and phone number)
A list of ASINs that you are applying to sell
Name of the manufacturer of each ASIN
A copy of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) licence of the manufacturer for each ASIN (if a copy of manufacturer’s FSSAI licence is not available, then you can provide the 14-digit FSSAI number of the manufacturer or snapshot from the FSSAI website), which:
Must be valid for a minimum of 30 days from when we receive the certificate
Must be in the name of the manufacturer of the product
Must contain "Manufacturer" as kind of business
Must contain "Product Name" in the Product category scope
In case of Imported Food Products, share a copy of the Importer’s FSSAI licence, which must be valid and in the name of the importer of the product.
Copy of all side images of the product packaging:
Images must contain either a manufacturer or importer FSSAI licence number for the product.
All side packaging images must be displayed on the detail pages as outlined in the Imaging guideline for Food ASINs.
Product packaging must comply with FSSAI Labelling Regulations.
You must have a valid FSSAI licence in your or your company’s
name, and it must contain the correct product category required to sell baby food. Your
valid FSSAI licence number must be displayed on Amazon.in as per the Food & Beverage guidelines
applying to sell these products, you certify that all materials which you submit in
conjunction with your application are true, authentic and accurate. Note that Amazon may
remove your selling privileges for failing to meet these requirements.
