Seeking Guidance on Reactivating My Seller Account

Dear Amazon Seller Community,

I hope you are all doing well. My name is Kainat Shirzai, and I am reaching out to this community to seek guidance and advice regarding the deactivation of my Amazon Seller Central account.

Background

In my eagerness to start selling on Amazon, I sourced a product (AG1 Athletic Greens) without fully understanding Amazon's policies regarding brand approvals and invoices. Unfortunately, I submitted an invoice that did not meet Amazon's requirements, and I later learned that the AG1 brand does not authorize third-party reselling. My account was deactivated on August 14, 2024, due to this issue.

Steps I Have Taken

1. Educated Myself on Amazon Policies: I have thoroughly reviewed Amazon’s guidelines regarding invoices, brand approvals, and sourcing practices to ensure compliance moving forward.

2. Ceased Selling AG1 Products: I have stopped selling the product in question and removed all related listings from my account.

3. Changed Sourcing Practices: I am now committed to sourcing products only from authorized distributors or suppliers who provide proper documentation.

4. Submitted an Appeal: I recently submitted a detailed appeal to Amazon, explaining the situation, the corrective actions I’ve taken, and my commitment to full compliance moving forward.

Current Status

Amazon has responded, indicating that the information I provided was insufficient to reactivate my account. I genuinely want to resolve this issue and learn from this experience, but I am unsure of the best next steps.

Request for Advice

I am seeking advice from experienced sellers on how to strengthen my case. If anyone has been through a similar situation, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. Specifically, I would like to know:

How can I better demonstrate my commitment to compliance in my appeals?

1. Are there additional documents or strategies I can use to support my case?

2. Any advice on avoiding such issues in the future?

3. I deeply value the opportunity to sell on Amazon, and I am determined to run my business with the utmost professionalism and adherence to Amazon's policies.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any suggestions or insights you can provide would mean a lot to me.

Best regards,

Kainat Shirzai

Common mistake. And a fatal one. Amazon is very unforgiving in cases of IP complaints. Unless you can get AG1 to give you authorization, or at least withdraw any complaints, you have no way forward.

I hope in your future ventures you will take the time to fully understand things before jumping in.

This, unfortunately, is a common mistake. Without a verifiable invoice, your appeals will not be successful. In your case, you also need brand approval, which with what you said, this will not be available.

Information for you:

Seller University

Invoice requirements for appealing a policy violation

Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements

Thank you @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw, for supporting the Community.
