1) As a general consideration, if you have a regular mass production product, FBA is much better considering you are serious about growing on Amazon.
2) Self / Easy ship is better in few cases like:
- Your product is too bulky
- Custom made
- Not a fast moving item
- Premium category item
- You don't want to sell outside your region of 300 to 500 kms
But even in these cases, easy ship is better than self ship.
3) Unit wise profit is cannot be compared between FBA & easy ship due to the variation in courier charges based on distance.
4) But you have a better scope of expanding when your product is in FC
