Submitting invoices and then getting kicked back and denied for the most silly reasons is a danger to 3PL sellers health.
Amazon Inc. has made more 3PL sellers sick than any other company including chemical companies.
Great Job Amazon.

We'll sometimes upload invoices that are automatically rejected. As in, rejected mere seconds after upload. Additionally, we've also experienced invoices that are rejected for some cases and then the same invoice will be accepted in other cases. Finally, when an invoice is rejected, there is almost never a reason given, even when we've specifically requested what that reason is.
It seems like the process for reviewing invoices has some severe gaps, particularly when it comes to the variety in proficiency of support agents ability to review invoices. This wouldn't be a huge issue if support agents just told us why they reject our invoices. Just tell us what the issue is so we can work manufacturers to improve future invoices.

Glenn, you are absolutely right however the system is flawed. The underlying code that 99% of the time denies the invoices is damaged/flawed and then the very unqualified overseas individuals who are comparing the invoices to some template given by an Amazon executive is not the same for all invoices that actually qualify. The whole procedure is a total nightmare for many sellers especially those who have already been vetted and undergone the process before like us and have been regated on many brands bought though the respective authorized distributors for years.
No 2 invoices or distributors are the same and though Amazon has a general template that is followed by the bots and people reviewing them, that simply does not work in the real world locking out many legitimate sellers.
Retail receipts and all the known retailers should automatically be denied, not against that even though Amazon did allow them for many years and now we legit sellers are all suffering from that aftermath of unqualified sellers.
I appreciate what Amazon is doing in regard to retail arbitrage which has hurt legit sellers like ourselves over the last few years, however the invoice/seller vetting process needs to be handled in the United States where the distributors actually are and by qualified and properly trained reps. There are specific lists of authorized distributors of brands that Amazon originally went off of and that currently buy from themselves, and they should continue with that list rather than set a template rule system for their Algorithm which is now not accepting those very same authorized distributors.
Amazon should also be straight forward for once and simply not accept applications on certain brands that they simply don't want any competition in rather than make sellers run in loops and spend countless hours trying to get ungated again.

Then why does Amazon not follow their own policies regarding invoices? I know for certain that their are multiple sellers listing our cheaper line of products that they buy off a discount website and resell on Amazon. They do not have suppliers invoices, only receipts from an online purchase.

amazon invoice policy assumes a stable economic world! Many media suppliers and distributors vanished due to mergers and economic reasons and media is notr alone here!
CHANGES IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE will wipe out many and few suppliers/distributors operating on slimmer profits can afford the time to verify for AMAZON OLD INVOICES!

I take every opportunity I can to point this out.
If you are going to hide pricing (which I strongly suggest you do,) make a copy or print the invoice out first, use a marker to black the pricing out, then scan it.
If you use a program to hide pricing not only will it likely get flagged as "altered," you might get banned.

Dear Mod,
I would like to raise a serious concern that is directly impacting my seller operations and compliance with Amazon’s dropshipping policy.
As part of my FBM/dropshipping model, I only source products through my Amazon.com Prime buyer account. These products are shipped to my U.S.-based warehouse, and then fulfilled to buyers in Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., Canada, and Mexico.
Since June 28, 2025, I have been unable to access or download any past invoices from my Amazon.com buyer account. When I click “View Invoice” on any Windows-based device (desktop, laptop, PC), I am redirected only to the Order Details page — no invoice appears, and no download is possible. This affects all orders.
Notably, invoices can still be viewed using the Android mobile app, suggesting this is a platform-specific system issue that severely limits desktop-based operations.
This has serious business consequences:
I am unable to issue sales invoices to international buyers (compulsory for Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E.)
I cannot provide product sourcing documentation in the event of an A-to-Z claim or authenticity check:
I risk falling out of compliance with Amazon’s own dropshipping and invoicing policies
Amazon Buyer Support has acknowledged this as a known issue:
On July 4, an associate confirmed:
“I’ve checked and see that there is an issue going on — a system view error for the invoices. The error has been reported. Our team is still working to fix this.”
On July 7, another associate added:
“This kind of issue is being faced by a lot of customers. We’ve reported it to our account team, and they are working to fix the issue.”
📌 I respectfully request:
That this issue be escalated to the technical team via Seller Central
That I receive a status update or estimated resolution timeline
That a temporary workaround be provided to retrieve individual invoices
And that Amazon confirm seller accounts relying on Amazon.com sourcing will not be penalized for missing documentation caused by this system issue
Thank you for your attention and support.

Yeah, Unfortunately invoices are getting denied even when meeting all requirements.
