Why FBA orders show as "PENDING"

Hi,

I had my product listed under FBA till yesterday when 2 order were placed. However, they are still showing as PENDING since the past 22 hours.

What does this mean? Does it mean that payment is pending by the customer? Earlier it never used to be the case; instead the orders were being readily fulfilled by Amazon. Kindly revert because I think there is some issue with my inventory at Amazon.

Hi,

I had my product listed under FBA till yesterday when 2 order were placed. However, they are still showing as PENDING since the past 22 hours.

What does this mean? Does it mean that payment is pending by the customer? Earlier it never used to be the case; instead the orders were being readily fulfilled by Amazon. Kindly revert because I think there is some issue with my inventory at Amazon.

Pending orders, Their system schedules and dispatches orders based on date, which is why it's showing as pending they schedule orders by date. It can also happen if the payment is pending to Amazon or the customer payment is done but the bank process is pending. This usually occurs during peak sale times.

But it does not affect the promised delivery date to the customer, product will be delivered on the requested date only.

Please get in touch with the warehouse team for the exact reason.

thats bcos someone has selected the product and moved it to cart but not paid yet , and Amazon's system creates reserve inventory for that order.

There are so many sellers facing the same problem. actually they are not able handle the FBA orders in season.

Once we send our inventory to the FBA, we do not know the actual condition of our product. No satisfactory response we use to get from the team.

After some time they transfer my inventory to unfulfillable category. once i receive my inventory after removing from FC by paying some amount to FBA, i use to find that my product is in good condition and it is totally in condition to sell again. I do not know how they are doing FBA!!!

There are many reasons why an order could be pending, indeed among them is having an issue with the buyer's payment method.
