📝The Basic Requirements:
- Professional quality, well-lit, in focus
- Pure white background (RGB 255,255,255)
- Product should fill 85% or more of the frame
- Display only the product being sold (no illustrations, added text, graphics, watermarks, props or accessories not included in the purchase)
- Minimum 1000 pixels on the longest side so customers can zoom; maximum 10GB file size
- Accepted formats: JPEG (.jpg/.jpeg), TIFF (.tif/.tiff), PNG (.png)
- File names must include the product identifier (ISBN, UPC, EAN, or JAN) and end with .jpg, .tif, or .png)
💡Best Practices
Show Multiple Angles: In addition to the front view, buyers may want to see the back, side, close-ups, and the product in use.
Highlight Key Features: Consider if you need to use infographics in secondary images, show size/scale reference, display product dimensions, or demonstrate key benefits.
Mobile Optimization: Preview how images appear on mobile devices and ensure text is readable on smaller screens.
Seasonality: Quarterly checks of older listings is a good practice to check for outdated or non-compliant images.
