How to calculate my profit

As an active seller on your platform, I greatly appreciate the resources and opportunities that Amazon provides to entrepreneurs like myself. However, I have been encountering some difficulties in understanding how to accurately track and assess my profit margins through Seller Central’s interface.

I would be extremely grateful if you could kindly provide me with detailed instructions or guidance on how to access and review my profit information on Amazon Seller Central. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how to:

  1. Identify and calculate the profit generated from my sales.
  2. Determine the fees associated with my products, such as referral fees, FBA fees, and other charges.
  3. Analyze the performance of individual products in terms of profitability.
  4. Generate comprehensive reports or statements that summarize my profit and loss data.

Any step-by-step instructions, screenshots, or explanatory videos you can provide would be tremendously helpful in enabling me to navigate the Seller Central platform more effectively and gain better insights into my business’s financial performance.

I understand that you receive numerous inquiries on a daily basis, but I genuinely appreciate your support and dedication to ensuring the success of your sellers. With your assistance, I believe I can optimize my operations and make more informed decisions to drive growth on the platform.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I eagerly look forward to your response and the valuable guidance you will provide. Please feel free to reach out to me if any further clarification is needed.

Warm regards,

For a very simple and quick method to calculate profit for an individual line, you can use the Revenue Calculator This is quite accurate.

If you are then talking total sales etc, then you need to start keeping proper accounts, to be able to work out what exactly your making/losing.
There are things available such as Sellerboard, that will give you a good overview of what you are doing, but I would be wary of believing this kind of software too much, as unless you input absolutely all of your costs etc, it will never give you a true figure.
It is however good for monitoring average profit levels and sales etc. But does have it’s limits.

This is a sellers forum - not amazon
For a breakdown of your amazon income and costs you need to go to
Reports- payments - date range reports
Transaction view will show you the data per asin
Summary will show the total income and amazon fees for a set period
This obviously doesn’t include your unit costs or off amazon expenses and overheads
