Easy Shipping Fee vs Easy Shipping Configuration
Hi,
I am seller and i am new to the easy shipping process. On the recent purchase made by one of the customer i noticed that the easy ship fee was calculated automatically by amazon and shown below the product package dimension details.
Now, my question is there is also one another option under shipping settings where in i can configure the easy shipping rate based on the weight or item and the zone.
If i add a new rate to the different zones (local, regional and national) how would this affect the easy shipping rate that was calculated by amazon automatically?
Please clarify so that i can set the rates accordingly or avoid any loss

Easy Ship Fee setting is the amount you want to charge the customer for shipping. This amount will be charged to the customer by amazon while placing the order.
Easy-ship shipping rate shown to you, while scheduling the shipment, is the amount charged by Amazon to you, for providing its shipping services for you to ship the product from your location to the customer location. This is weight and location-zone based and is calculated automatically.

there will be no changes in shipping charges but the shipping charges you have configured will be charged from customer with item price and the same will be credited to your account.
for example your item price is 200 and your configured shipping price is 60 than Rs. 260 will be charged from customer but the amount which you will receive will be Rs. 260-Actual shipping charge calculated by amazon.

If your product price is 200 and you have configured to collect 60 from customer, 260 will be collected from the customer. From this 260, amazon commission (say 20) and easy ship fee (say 80) will be deducted and the remaining amount will be credited.
If you can see there is a 20rs difference in shipping fees that you have to pay to amazon. So either collect 80 from the customer or you can bare the extra shipping fee for the customer to face less shipping charges
