FBA Return Processing Fee
I would like to know what returns qualify towards the return threshold? All returns? Returns that were not received in time? Buyer error?
Amazon's lax return policy caused returns to explode, and now we get to pay for it.

What returns threshhold? Returns are subject to a returns processing fee. We've been doing this for years and don't remember ever having "free" returns.

Check out your FBA Returns page, the thresholds are already there, just scroll down. They are lower than I was expecting, averaging between 7%-9% depending on your category.
The high return fee will only be applied to returns that are above the threshold on a monthly basis, not to all returns.
Still, the threshold is only a percent or so above the average return rate.. and they count anything returned within 90 days of sale.. not 30 days. I'm going to assume close to half of all returns are going to have this (other) new fee. Fun stuff.

From what I could tell, it doesn't matter. If it is returned you are charged. Just another reason why we no longer use FBA.

if return you must be charged. other you cant do nothing

Amazon should be helping us REDUCE fraudulent returns, not charging us more for them!

I wonder when we will see fees for items that have too-few returns?
When items are not returned in sufficient quantities, our staff sits idle. This is a cost to Amazon. Therefore we are introducing a too-few returns fee.
