Fake Review Trend on Amazon
@Sakura_Amazon_@Adam_Amazon_@Noor_Amazon_
Recently, we noticed that Amazon sellers have been adding fake reviews.
This trend has increased exponentially. Everyone, big brand or newly launched seller, everyone is adding fake reviews on Amazon.
They have found an easy trick to increase sales. Launch a product, add 30-40 fake reviews and rank higher.
I know Amazon does not tolerate such activity, but I'm not so sure if they are taking any appropriate actions on this.
We have been selling for the past 8 years on Amazon, and it really took us that long to establish a brand on Amazon. But people are using such dirty tricks which take minimal effort.
I hope Amazon will take some action on such sellers.
And I hope other sellers who are facing the same problems will report such reviews on Amazon.

post. Due to this, genuine reviews often don't get posted on the portal, which is my main concern.

Yes, some sellers do indulge in fake reviews — but have you noticed that many so-called "Am0z8n insider sellers" and even "Am0z8n brands" are adding hundreds of "verified " reviews daily?... This is this possible???
You're pointing out theft of a matchbox, while the ones you're complaining to are involved in ... vanishing whole containers of matchboxes.. — breaking their own policies openly and consistently. They're selling duplicates, even of major U.S. brands, some of which have already won Supreme Court cases and fines against such counterfeits.
Just look at the review numbers: not 30 or 40, but 3,000 to 10,000+ reviews, often added suspiciously fast. These are not isolated incidents; this is system-level abuse — and it’s crushing smaller, genuine sellers who’ve built their brands over years through real effort and integrity.

If you read review's carefully then easily be understand which are fake. Within a Practical Scenario a review languages never been such type, which are reflecting in Amazon.

Hello! @Seller_tkGbHeF83iiEn
Thank you for using the Forums to bring light to this issue. Do you have a recent example in which you have reported the issue and no actions have been taken? If you have a complaint ID or case ID, I can review and make sure to forward it to the right teams for investigations.
