Issue with Easy Ship Prime Pickup Not Following Selected Time Slot – Causing Late Shipments
I'm facing a recurring issue with the Easy Ship Prime pickup service and would really appreciate any guidance or solutions from those who may have experienced something similar.
Whenever I receive an order, there are two available pickup slots:
Slot 1: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Slot 2: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Even when I select the second slot (2:30 PM – 4:30 PM), the pickup person consistently arrives around 12:00–1:00 PM, ignoring the preferred slot I’ve chosen. This causes a problem: if an order is placed after his visit (but still before the Easy Ship Prime same-day cutoff at 1:45 PM), it doesn’t get picked up that day.
The delivery person has informed me that he only makes one trip a day due to his electric vehicle (auto/tempo) constraints and won’t return for a second pickup. As a result, these later orders are picked up the next day and are marked as late shipments, even though I am ready with the package before the cutoff time. Sometimes, the pickup guy has asked me to deliver the package to a certain location if I want this get picked up the same day, but he will not come at any cost.
To fix this, I have to repeatedly contact Amazon customer support or submit the Late Pickup form – and even then, it doesn't always get resolved. It's becoming very frustrating as I am following all the rules from my end.
Is there a permanent solution to this issue? Has anyone else faced a similar problem and found a workaround or fix? I’d be grateful for any advice or insight.
