MCF on shopify
I have successfully linked Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) to my Shopify store. However, I currently do not have stock available at the Amazon warehouse. I want to know if I can use products available on Amazon for fulfilling orders on my store that are not in stock, or if I need to import them to an Amazon warehouse first before selling them on my Shopify store. Kindly guide me through the process. Thank you

You need to have your inventory at FBA to be able to use it to fulfill orders on your Shopify store using MCF.

Clearly you cannot use Multi-Channel Fulfillment if you do not have inventory in the warehouse.
But you can fill your website orders yourself. Which means having the product on hand and shipping it yourself.
This doesn't make sense. If you have no product, then don't offer it for sale. Buying retail on Amazon to fill orders from your website is a terrible business plan.
