Poppy Seed Restricted product
I sell a lemon poppyseed product, it got flagged and restricted. I can't get anyone at amazon to send me anything but the below copy paste answer. There are tons of "lemon poppy" flavored products on amazon. I'm guessing they didn't all get approval. so how do I get someone to answer me? my product has like 5g of poppy seeds in it and we use an approved brand as a supplier - Bobs Red Mill
it has been months I've been trying to fix this Case 14589947091

Hello @Seller_N4z7plpI08uNy,
Thank you for posting questions about a Restricted Products on Seller Forums!
In order for the Seller forums community and I to assist you the best, we need to learn more about your situation.
- In your post, you mentioned that the flavor is poppyseed, what components create the poppyseed flavor? Is there actual poppyseed in this product? Do you have proof that there is no poppy seed in this product?
When it comes to Restricted Products, not just the product itself but the wording and attributes in the listing can get the item flagged.
- Have you attempted to edit the listing? If so have the changes been made live?
These violations are usually triggered by some kind of keyword or phrase. Therefore, editing the listings to remove the keywords is one way to dispute the violation. A dispute must contain supporting documents (proof) in order to be accepted.
You can also provide a written description of the products showing their ingredients and intended purposes. Within these descriptions, you can explain how your products do not violate the Restricted Products Policy.
If you have any supporting documentation to further show how these products are policy compliant (such as photographs, product description, ingredient list, packaging inserts, screenshots from the manufacturer, or any proof of exemption),you can attach those to your cases as well. Once you have submitted the appeals, our team will evaluate your submissions. Keep an eye on the case log when you submit your appeals for further instructions.
The Seller Forums Team and I are here to support you. Once you have reviewed the questions above, please fell free to respond in this thread.
Wishing you the best,
Webb
