Account deactivated after over 25 years of Selling Used Books
I just got an email this morning that says I will not be getting my final payment due to fraudulent activites. After 25 years plus of selling used books which they would email me to sell back my books back. I have had no violations and suspentions. Played by the rules and now I can not get my final amount due to me. Keeping my small 425 dollars makes me wonder how many other people they are stealing from. I have wasted too much time on amazon. They made me jump through hoops trying to get reinstated. I am exhausted.

Amazon is no longer interested in small sellers...I shut down my store last week, BEFORE they could fire me. They prefer truckload shipments of the cheapest, most purchased products available, mostly originating from China.

I was wondering Amazon just deactives an account without any consideration of 25 years healthy selling history. It doesn't happen on any busienss in real life.

They seem to hate honest sellers and people, which is why this keeps happening, and so many corrupt sellers are still on Amazon in the open. They seem to specifically go after large legitimate resellers from what I can see

Well, now that they have your PERSONAL ID and your banking information through their FAKE requirements for the INFORM act, they can empty your bank account and open up massive loans in your name... What do they need you for?
We removed all our inventory and refused to give them that info. We are deactivated but still have an account in case they ever come to their freakin' senses. The rest of you are just waiting for the Amazon "Data Breach" that will compromise all your peronal info. (the INFORM Act required NO personal information. The government believed your personal information was your own)

How can you possibly commit fraud selling used books on Amazon? What fraud did they think that you committed?

This is like' YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW YOU DIE ON AMAZON' same for other sellers who sell the product design is not same but similar as the copyright one ,but Amazon accept the report that you sell their copyright design then got email from amazon fraudulent activies too and deactivated the account. all inventories and money blocked. big lose!

I have almost the same story, and hundreds of other sellers recently do too. I’ve been here for roughly a decade with no none zero ever violations up until this one customer makes a switch with what I sold and what they returned , and now I have $15,000 seized because amazon thinks I’ve been accused of selling counterfeit items.
Whoever runs this place lately needs to also jog their thinking and see that overall what is good for us (sellers) is also good for Amazon too. Otherwise sellers will flock to other e-commerce sites just to help ends meet and avoid the constant fraudulent activities going on here all the time due to bad customers.
I hired an attorney to clean through my mess, and I’m advising you do the same.
