Amazon charging refund commission and easy ship fee for orders cancelled by customers just after pickup

I just go to know about this while checking the payments.
Amazon gives customers a chance to cancel the order before delivery is attempted to them i.e. when the order is in transit.
This means the item should be immediately returned back to the seller and there is no need to ship the item all the way to the customer’s place and attempt delivery unnecessarily.
Now not only Amazon is charging easy ship see on such orders (which it should not as other couriers do not charge any fee if we ask them to not delivery when item is in transit or still in the same state.), Amazon is also charging refund commission on such orders which is totally unjust as refund commission can only be charged where the customer has received the item and then returned it after making full payment and gets a refund for the order.
Why should sellers pay easy ship fee and refund commission on such orders?

yes we also face the same issue in many orders which are rejected by customers after pickup and then also amazon courier that packet to the customer and we are charged for delivery as well as for refund commission

Amazon is a customer centric platform with a very least respect towards sellers… They know that they have plenty sellers so they don’t care… There is also one more point which I need to add… if the returns are below 8-10% then even the courier returns charges will be charged to us… Which I feel is not at all right…
No using in banging our head for all this… Amazon doesn’t care…

If we all complain about this together, I am sure Amazon will stop charging easy ship fee on such cancelled orders.
I request all fellow members to raise a case wherein we request Amazon to return item immediately when an order is cancelled in transit and not charge easy ship fee for that.
And this should be a separate category of returns and should not come under 8% rejected or undeliverable category.

YES TALKED TO AMAZON PEOPLE AND THEY DO CHARGE shipping cost FOR CANCELLATION DONE BY BUYER HENCE JUST WENT ON VACATION ON AMAZON. . THIS IS UNJUST CHARGES.
