amazon generic keywords 250 or 500 ???
The uploaded inventory file gets an error " Please reduce your generic keyword length to less than "250" bytes." But The same asin manually shows the same error after 500 bytes. The chat with support is attached.
Does somebody know how many bytes are allowed on back end generic keyword?

In this particular instance, you will need to use the "Add a Product" feature for new products or manually edit listings in your inventory to update the Generic Keywords to have over 200 characters.

Currently, the length limit for generic keywords is 249 Bytes, as shown in the Keyword attributes explained page. Hope that helps answer you question.
