Customers wanting gift card credit instead of refund
So i've gotten TWO buyers who both want refunds for self-fulfilled items put on an Amazon gift card.
The first one was from a customer claiming non-receipt.
I am not sure what is going on with this second buyer yet.
BOTH called directly to customer service, who pass the request for gift card credit on to me, as if I can do anything.
WHY would anyone prefer an Amazon gift card credit over credit applied directly back to their credit cards?

Hi @Seller_Sram36TnVt73c,
Tatiana from Amazon here -- I'm just coming across your thread so let me know if this has already been resolved.
If buyer's are reaching out directly for refunds in any form, just be sure to direct them to the proper procedures.
For the customer claiming non-receipt, they should be filing an A-to-Z claim directly, and for the second customer, they need to file a return request through the proper procedure - they are typically given a store credit option when they process a return through their Amazon account.
