Box Dimension Limit

Hi everyone,

I need your thoughts/ suggestion on a situation in hand.

Please read the full details.

My manufacturer from China preparing my first shipment to Amazon Warehouse. 4 units (each 65*25*15cm 4kg) are put into one big carton box (67 * 25 * 33 cm 16kgs). There will be total of 51 carton box containing 202 units.

Now after reading the Box dimension regulation for amazon I requested my supplier to make the Carton Box below 63.5 cm. They are saying it's not possible as each of my product has plastic legs who's length is 65 cm. So, They can't be put the units into a 63.5 cm Box. As, each unit contains 65 cm long plastic legs, the outer box needs to be 67 cm.

What should I do? Please let me know. It's my first product shipment.

Thanks!

Hi @Seller_PIyl4B57AvfsC,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help! Boxes containing multiple standard-size items or oversized items must not exceed 25.00 inches on any side. A box may only exceed the 25.00 inch limit if it contains oversize units that measure longer than 25.00 inches. Boxes that are excessively large relative to the oversize units (exceeding the 2 inches of cushioning recommended above) may be subject to restriction of shipping privileges, additional fees, or refusal at a fulfillment center.

Based on what you described these items are considered oversized. Because the items themselves exceed the 25 inch limit, you should be okay to send the larger box.

Best,

Dominic
