Amazon is putting all my listings in the "Book" category?
Hello! We are a small children's book publisher. All our listings are typically books, but we have a new product that's a musical toy this time. We created a listing in the "toys and games" category, but Amazon automatically put it in the "book" category. We deleted and recreated the listing, but the same thing happened. Amazon seems to be putting all our listings in the "book" category.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Has Amazon categorized our brand as a book publisher that ONLY creates books? Does this mean we can't sell anything else that is not a book? Will we have to create a new brand?

Michelle at Amazon here. I am sorry to hear that all of your items are getting categorized as books. Do you have a case with Seller Support that I can take a look at? If you have not contacted Seller Support yet, please start here and provide them with the ASIN's you are having issues with so they can research this for you. If they are not able to help, please let me know so I can take a look.
