I license a Brand already on Amazon how to do set up and link items to their Band page

I license a Brand already on Amazon how to do set up items under that brand and link items to their Band page? Do I need to apply for the brand on our account as well and then provide a licensing letter that we have authorization?

The type of storefront you are talking about is for a brand owner.

Not sure what you mean by "license a Brand already on Amazon" -- this is not possible. You cannot "license" a brand not owned by you.

You can certainly sell brands not owned by you -- you must obtain written permission from that brand and purchase through their authorized distributors.

But that does not give you any sort of brand ownership status. Just the right to sell.

Hello @Seller_H3rHUNrXAV9Jf,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can provide some additional information for you. Thank you to @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl for providing some clarifying information and for your additional context, with that I think I can assist.

To put it simply, 1 Amazon Store per Brand is all that is currently allowed. If your end state is to have your ASINs featured on that brands Amazon Store, someone from the Brand will need to add those ASINs to the brand store via the Amazon Advertising console.

If your end state is simply to have the brand store linked on the byline (under the title), that will happen automatically, provided that the brand name you write is exactly the same as the brand name that is enrolled in Brand Registry and you have a selling role within that brand (so that you are allowed to list that brand).

Based on the info you provided, I am assuming this brand is already enrolled in Brand Registry (this is a prerequisite to create a brand store) and either they can add an authorized reseller role to your selling account so you can list OR you will complete a brand application and provide all necessary documentation of your relationship with the brand in that application. All the detail that you need to provide on the brand application is broken down in the Apply to sell a product, category, or brand Seller University video.

Hope this provides some clarification. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best, Dougal
