It is a very nice initiative taken by Amazon to refund easy ship fee for orders that are undeliverable or rejected by customers as sellers were at no fault.

Now as per policy Amazon refunds for orders upto 8% i.e. easy ship fee for 8 orders out of 100 will be refund if such orders are rejected or undeliverable.

Now the problem is Amazon is refunding on order to order basis and what happens is the order with higher easy ship fee fall under 8% category and are not refunded and refund is given for orders that have been charged less easy ship fee as per weight.

For example if easy ship for one order is Rs. 100 and other is Rs. 50, Amazon will refund Rs. 50 when the seller would want it to be Rs. 100.

So I request Amazon to change the policy and refund easy ship fee as per the value of easy ship fee charged and deduct 8% of that fee.

So in case of our above example the refund should be Rs. 150 - Rs. (150*8%) = Rs. 138 instead of Rs. 50 which is a fair value of refund commission.
