Create another offer and place inventory in FBA

Hi @Seller_vkZW52DzUWLcC
The short answer is yes — and it's a smart move! As noted in our Fulfill Orders and Manage Inventory Category Playbook, the India marketplace has its own unique fulfillment considerations, including FBA and Easy Ship options alongside standard self-fulfillment.
The most common and recommended approach is to create two separate listings — one for FBA and one for FBM — using different SKUs for each fulfillment channel. This keeps things clean and avoids errors in the fulfillment process.
How to Set It Up — Step by Step
Option 1: Create a Separate FBM Listing (Recommended)
- Keep your existing FBA listing as-is
- Create a new SKU for your FBM offer (a simple way is to add an "M" at the end of your existing SKU — e.g., if your FBA SKU is ABC123, your FBM SKU becomes ABC123M)
- List the product again using this new SKU, selecting "I will ship this item myself" as the fulfillment channel
- Set your MFN quantity and shipping settings
⚠️ Important: Amazon's policy allows a maximum of two listings per ASIN (one FBA, one FBM). Do not create more than two, as this could be considered offer manipulation.
Option 2: Convert an Existing MFN Listing to FBA
If you currently sell via FBM and want to add FBA:
- Go to Manage Inventory in Seller Central India: https://sellercentral.amazon.in/inventory
- Find your listing and click the dropdown next to "Edit"
- Select "Change to Fulfilled by Amazon"
- Follow the steps to create your FBA shipment and send inventory to an Amazon fulfillment center
Hope this information helps.
Christine.

Yes, a product listing can exist with both FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) and FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant) offers.
This usually happens when the same ASIN has multiple offers with different fulfillment methods. For example, one offer can be fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) while another is fulfilled directly by the seller (FBM).
If you want to use both options for your product, you can do the following:
1. Create an FBA offer
Convert the existing SKU to FBA by going to Manage Inventory → Change to Fulfilled by Amazon and send inventory to an Amazon fulfillment center.
2. Create a separate FBM SKU
You can create another SKU for the same ASIN but select Fulfilled by Merchant while adding the offer.
3. Manage inventory separately
The FBA inventory will be stored and shipped by Amazon, while the FBM inventory will be shipped directly by you.
Some sellers use both methods so they can continue selling through FBM if FBA inventory goes out of stock or during peak demand.
Just make sure pricing and delivery settings remain competitive so the listing stays eligible for the Buy Box.
