Subject: Update on the packaging guidelines and evidence requirement for filing SAFE-T claims
Dear Seller,
Per the revised process, you are requested to follow the below for all orders fulfilled via Seller Flex, Easy Ship and Self-Ship channels from 15th December 2022 (Thursday)-
For shipments that can be returned to you (Returnable orders): capture/record a video of the packaging and unboxing of the return shipments from start to end. Submit videos of both packaging and unboxing in case of a SAFE-T claim submission.
For shipments where return-less refund can be charged to you (Non-returnable orders): capture/record a video of the packaging from start to end, before the package is sent out for customer delivery. Submit only the packaging video in case of a SAFE-T claim submission.
Steps to upload videos on SAFE-T Claim:
Go to “Manage SAFE-T claims” under ‘Manage orders’ on Seller Central to locate the order ID
Click "View Message”
Click on “Attach File” to upload the video proof(s)
Key Notes:-
Attach videos only on SAFE-T claims, any videos shared with external links (such as Google drive/ Dropbox etc.) will not be considered
Video length should be 1 to 1.5 minutes per video for us to review the evidence effectively
Video extensions allowed are .mp4 and .avi
Maximum file size for videos should be 250 MB
Shipping label on the forward shipping video & Return label on the return unboxing video should be clearly visible in the video for a seamless claim transaction
Please note: SAFE-T Claims would be granted only if you adhere to the above guidelines and specific requirements. Do have a look at the sample packing video here- https://youtu.be/fe9IenaDkAA

I have attached the copy of a mail which i got from amazon safe t claim team that i have to make video of packaging during packing. @Susan_Moderator @Jessica Please clarify why is this for some sellers only. I do self ship, i think the sellers do self ship got this mail.
I ship almost 100-200 daily how is it possible to recode video of packaging of 200 orders daily. And have amazon ever think about how much memory space it will require?
If i save 250 mb video per order for 90 days, I would require almost 45000 gb storage to store them for 90 days.
Do amazon aws will provide that storage? Do amazon will provide compensation of the internet usage.
I think this is currently for only few sellers or for only for sellers who do self ship.
