📦 Stay Compliant with Product Insert Policies! 📦
Today, let's talk about product inserts and how to keep them compliant.
🔑 Key Points to Remember:
Amazon monitors products to ensure they don't contain inserts that ask for specific Amazon community contributions including:
- Product Reviews and Ratings
- Incentives, such as free gifts
You are able to add inserts that thank customers and request they leave a review based on their experience.
❌ What to Avoid:
- Never ask a customer to leave specific feedback on product reviews.
- Never offer incentives for a review
- Never offer refunds or payment for a review
- Never ask them to contact you outside of the Buyer-Seller messaging tool

Thanks for the information for sellers. I will admit, many people send me emails requesting reviews, usually before I get the item, & their inserts ask for a 5 star review for a percentage off next time.
But I wouldn't worry, most Amazon buyers do not read inserts. They ignore your paperwork, & prefer to contact you with their stupid questions or lies.
I get more emails asking me stupid questions, where they could of just read the insert.

Sorry @Dominic_Amazon my experience shows this is not true. Many of the offshore products we order on Amazon, that travel through your fulfillment system contain at least one of the items you indicate.
You missed at least one of the frequent ones from Asian Basin sellers. "Visit our website, xyz.com and use this code, abc123 for 50 percent off your next order!"
As a frequent customer (for now) on Amazon, this sort of things drives me nuts.

I bought items before and these were made in China and came from there and fulfilled by Amazon. They have inserts asking for reviews and incentives to visit their website, etc. Amazon should start with these kinds of sellers if they are really serious about it. Open their products in their fulfillment centers and see what they have inside.

This is not enforced. Almost everything I order comes with some kind of insert with an offer

Almost every order I've received from a 3rd party seller via FBA has contained an insert that violates something on this list. They aren't monitoring anything.

What a joke! these people has been sending inserts encouraging outside purchases, discounts if buying outside Amazon and clearly violating policy. This has been going on for over ONE YEAR!:

Not everything I order comes with some kind of insert with some kind of offer/incentive for leaving reviews, but I have received a TON of orders that do - and I have also seen pictures on the reviews of products with the offer or request for reviews. Which is TOTALLY UNFAIR. My products in FBA do not include inserts/incentives/or request of any kind. For the number of items I have received via FBA with "Product Inserts" it does not appear at all like Amazon "monitors products".

This could not have missed the mark more. I've even sent proof of these inserts to Amazon and the listings are still active.

While this may be true for USA based sellers, this type of rule does not apply to Chinese based sellers.

Remember they are Amazons customers unless there are issues. :-)
