Can I set up roles for account management?

I created the seller account for our non-profit more than 10 years ago. It is not a Professional account, we don't sell enough to justify that.

Selling books on Amazon is a small part of my job, and I cannot give it the attention it deserves.

I'd like to have someone else be able to go into our inventory listing on Amazon, and make sure that everything is up-to-date. That is, identify books that have been suspended for bad pricing, remove books that are no longer for sale, and make sure the pricing from when the book was first listed is still a good price to list at.

I don't want this person to have access to our full account, like to change bank info, etc. Just modify the inventory listings.

Is there a way to do that?

You have to have a professional account. Something to think about, would the increase in sales justify the $40/month professional account fee?

And yes, you are correct -- you don't want to give unfettered access to your individual account to someone else.

Hello @Seller_lyztNmXC2vTOc,

Thank you for reaching out. The ability to set and edit user permissions is available only to sellers with a Professional selling plan. To learn more, go to Selling plan comparison.

When you initially set up your Seller Central account, only you can access the account tools and features. You can provide access to others, such as employees, co-owners, or contractors, by setting your user permissions.

To invite new users, follow these steps:

  • From the Settings drop-down menu, select User permissions.
  • Enter the contact information for the new user and click Send invitation. Repeat for all new users that you want to add.
  • Have your new users follow the instructions in the email that they'll receive.

To edit new-user permissions, follow these steps:

  • From the Settings drop-down menu, select User permissions.
  • Click Edit next to the account that you want to change.
  • Click the button next to each tool that you want to allow the user to access.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Cheers,

Micah
