Credit Card Invalid - Cant Access Account to Get Support

My account has been completely locked out due to an error "Credit Card Invalid."

I've tried updating the payment info multiple times with several different cards. I've tried both Debit and Credit Cards.

The payment info is correct on my end, and there's an available balance on all of the cards that I used.

I can't contact support to get help because it takes me back to the "Credit Card Invalid" screen.

How am I supposed to get this fixed if Amazon won't allow me to contact support?

Gonna take a shot here; might work, no guarantee.

Start on your buyer account. Delete the old cards, and enter a new one.

Then wait; usually less than 24 hours, but sometimes that long.

Then update your seller account; you will hopefully be able to log in and select the new card.

These aren't pre-paid/pre-loaded cards, are they? If so, those won't work for selling on Amazon.

If you meant instead that they have an available line of credit, then do as @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw suggests.

Hello @Seller_vIenk97YDkPUv,

Thank you for reaching out. My apologies on the frustration that this has caused. Please review this resource and ensure the requirements below are met.

Credit Card

  • Is the credit card valid?
  • Is there a minimum charge amount?
  • Are you using a pre-paid card? (Note: Use of a pre-paid card is not accepted for a selling account.)
  • Does the bank have a record of the charge attempt?
  • Are there bank limits or policies that prevent the charge attempt from being authorized?
  • Is there any incorrect credit card information entered? (Note: All the credit card information entered such as number, name, address, ZIP code, or expiration date must be an exact match with your card details.)
  • Is this chargeable in the currency of the Amazon marketplace where you registered your seller account?

Bank Account

  • Your seller account must have a business address associated with it.
  • Your bank account must be located in a country supported by the Amazon Currency Converter.
  • Your bank account information must be up to date.

Once you have verified that all the requirements met, select "Reactivate Account" from the Account Information screen and upload the documents for review.

If you continue to run into issue after this, please let me know and I will will complete another review to determine next steps.

Please let me know if there are any questions.

Cheers,

Micah
