We honestly think its because it was a broken system. We couldn't find our own products half the item. If I search for products with a UPC or ASIN they show up quickly. If I put the exact description, the products dont always show up. Suppressed for some reason but doesnt show suppressed in our catalog. Some also would show up on Tuesday and not on Wednesday, etc. They probably couldn't fix it so they changed it. Just my guess but we had so many issues the last 2 years with searching

Great question. As far as using the "advanced search" for books, it was USELESS (starting at least 14 years ago).
You'd think they could get it right....
