Status Returned to seller without returning products
Hello,
Through seller support we have come to know that Amazon has brought changes to the status showing Returned to seller which you could access via Manage Orders/Date Range-Shipment Status/Returned to seller/Last 90 days.
With this change an undelivered or rejected by buyer’s order status will change to Returned to seller instead of Rejected by buyer or undeliverable.
You would even receive the alert email when the products get rejected by buyer or undeliverable. We don’t think now sellers would get an email of undelivered product when product actually gets handed over to you.
This would cause lot of problems to sellers because a simple feature through which we track our returns is taken away from us, we would have to be extra careful for our returns
There have been many instances where Easy Ship personnel mark return completed without returning products to us, and now this laxity in system would be of advantage to them and bane for sellers.
We would like to request Amazon that when an order gets rejected by customer or undeliverble, please show them in their appropriate tabs rather than in Returned to seller tab and please send us an alert email of return completed when our returns get marked completed so that we could catch fake return completed markings.
