I'm owner of the brand and can not list a product!

Hi, I am the brand owner of "****", and my approved case ID is 15380199191. I am unable to create a listing due to the following message: "Brand Authorization Required: The ability to create or edit ASINs using this brand name is restricted to authorized sellers. You need to apply for approval to add or modify products for this brand."

I have already created a technical issue ID 15644555521.

Could you please assist? I am the owner of the brand, and there are no other sellers or trademarks with the same name. I have developed a product for over a year and currently have almost 20,000 units. However, I am unable to create a listing. Need a help ASAP guys

Thank you!

Did you possibly use a different email address when you registered for Brand Registry?

You may possibly need to go into the account as the brand owner to make changes to an ASIN if so.

Hi @Seller_L7CypxBDQq547

My name is Sandy from the Community Manager team.

I looked into your case and have a few suggestions to your issue.

1. I know @Seller_kIukTwdhvntApalready asked about your email, but please make sure you are using the same account as your Brand Registry approved Brand Representative account to list the ASIN. If you are already doing this, please disregard this step.

2. I noticed in the screenshot you provided you clicked the "I don't have a product ID box." Please visit the List products that do not have a Product ID (UPC, EAN, JAN or ISBN) help page for more information, or have you completed an exemption request?

Best,

Sandy

This happened to me several times before. I think I was able to get past it by uploading the product via an Excel sheet. I believe it has to be an actual Excel sheet and not any other format. The problem was when I tried to use CSV.

It happened to me a similar issue. After a direct chat they solved me and could modify my asin as a brand owner but first amz told me that another seller has the right to do that not me.....

Hi guys - the problem is resolved.

Things that I did: go to manage the brand, choose a new brand, assign a role for yourself, wait 12 hours, and thats all!

We have somewhat similar issue. We have a registered trademark in BR. However, all of our listings have our brand name changed. We lost control of all the listings! This has been going on for over 2 months and still no resolution! This is complete madness!

Registering your brand with Amazon is just that. Amazon says it will accept your brand to be sold on the site.

NOW....

- You may have to be approved to sell in the Category the specific item falls.

- You have to be approved to sell the actual product on the site. This may require submitting all legal documentation and/or testing to sell the item in the USA.

We had this issue and I wrote a letter on our letterhead giving ourselves permission to sell the brand that we own. Also included copy of Trademark certificate/# etc. Silly, but It worked.
