FNSKU match - ASIN doesnt match

Hello all!

The amazon system has told me 2 of my listings have an error. They told me to assign the product a new UPC number from my GS1 prefix, so I did. When I did this, the error went away, BUT now I have a new ASIN assigned to that product. The old ASIN had been "Tombstoned" according to amazon. However, the FNSKU numbers still match so the Amazon barcodes I print and put on the product are still the same.....

So heres my question.... I already have this product labeled in China and its already shipped out to the FBA center already. As I said, the FNSKU still matches correctly and the label is the same..., but now the ASIN is different since amazon made me assign it a new UPC number. Will I still be able to sell this product? Or am I going to have to remove all this inventory from amazon and print out new labels. The labels will still be identical as the FNSKU is the same, but I just don't know if on the back end, amazon wont sell the product because of the conflicting ASIN issue. Thanks for any info or advise!

Hi there @Seller_ctPfBSRjj70iU,

If a product has a new ASIN it shouldn't match the information associated with the FBA inventory. In general Amazon won't be able to change the ASIN associated with your FNSKU so you will likely need to create a removal order to have the product returned to you. You can then send in the inventory under the new ASIN and new FBA listing.

However I'm happy to review the specifics of your ASIN to see if there are any other options. Please reply with your most recent Seller Support Case And I will review further. Thank you.

Thank you.
