ISBN Not in GS1 Database
I have a self published book that I want to sell on Amazon FBA. Amazon states that because it is a book I need an ISBN from GS1. I talked to GS1 and they confirmed they no longer sell ISBNs as they relinquished that to Bowker which is the only company to buy an ISBN from in the US. I have an ISBN through Bowker but when I enter it I get the 8572 error code saying Amazon can't validate the code. When I talk to Amazon Customer support, they tell me I need to buy the ISBN through GS1 so that when they search the GS1 database it will match. But it's impossible to buy an ISBN through GS1. What do I do?!

Hello @Seller_kHfPLf7w1wcaZ. I am following up on your question about that ISBN being in our database. Those databases can take time to sync, so I am checking if you are still seeing this issue.
