EU account deactivated and Amazon doesn't accept notarized translation from my country
Hello evryone,
I have US selling account from 2018 and I wanted to expand in Europe since I am from Europe but after few days the European account got deactivated and because two accounts are linked so the USA account has been deactivated.
Amazon asks for Utility bill as a Proof of address so I submited that one. Then they asked for notarized translation. I sent a translation of the electricity bill and the original, which got rejected because, according to Amazon, it does not have a notarized signature. I contacted the interpreter who did the translation and she said that in our country there is no notarized sinatures on translation. In most western countries, a notary signs, but here a notary can't do that, especially not for a foreign document. At the end of the translation in the last paragraph, there is information about who appointed the translator (the Court), the date and registration number. It is considered that these data are a guarantee of the authenticity of the translator's signature. In the case of other types of documents that go abroad (contracts, diplomas, etc.), our court confirms the authenticity of the translator's signature through an Apostille (certified by the Hague Seal) because all translators have signatures deposited in the court but not for this type of document.
I also called few Notary offices and they confirmed not possible to provide translation signature in any different form then this one I already have. Whoever translates utility bill here, it will be the same. There are simply no notarized signatures here in my country.
I sent this explanation together with images of original and translation but the reply was the same: they can't accept it. I tried few times with no success.
. Can someone from support please contact me? There is no option for me to provide different translation. Also, my US Amazon account was deactivated because of this issue and it is the primary income source for my family as I am Handmade artisan and wanted to apply for Handmade seller in Europe.

Hello @Seller_RdsGPuWKFT4xi,
This is Sonny from Amazon checking in on your thread regarding your account deactivation, now let's consider key points -

If your Utility Bill requires a notarized translation along with the original, it must include a raised seal notary stamp.
Given the nuance of your situation I will be forwarding your situation to our Account Health Support team for outreach.
Please ensure all of your contact phone numbers are valid on file for phone outreach.
Best,
