Wrong Category Listing
My product goes in wrong category even when I listed a new one but it also showing in different sub category. What Should I do ? I changed the category in manage inventory but no effect. Also my product is not showing in search results even in the category where it is listed; I could not find it on any pages. Please suggest.

Update your UNSPSC Codes for each listing that is showing an incorrect category by reporting incorrect UNSPSC Code from the buyer portal.

If your product is appearing in the wrong category or subcategory on Amazon, and you've already tried changing the category in the "Manage Inventory" section without success, here are some additional steps to consider:
Check Product Listing Details: Ensure that your product's title, description, and other listing details are accurate and relevant to the category you want it to appear in. Make sure there are no conflicting or confusing keywords that might cause Amazon's algorithms to place it in the wrong category.
Review Amazon's Category Requirements: Each category on Amazon has specific requirements and restrictions. Make sure your product meets all the requirements for the category you want to list it in. You can find these requirements in Amazon's category-specific guidelines.
Contact Amazon Seller Support: If you've tried the above steps and your product is still appearing in the wrong category, it's best to contact Amazon Seller Support for assistance. They can help you resolve category-related issues and ensure your product is correctly categorized.
Regarding your product not showing up in search results, here are some steps to troubleshoot this issue:
Check Listing Visibility: Make sure your product listing is set to "Active" and not "Inactive" in your Seller Central account.
Optimize Keywords: Ensure that your product listing includes relevant keywords that customers might use to search for your product. Use relevant and specific keywords in the title, bullet points, and product description.
Competitive Pricing: If your product is priced significantly higher than similar products in the same category, it might not appear prominently in search results. Consider adjusting your pricing strategy.
Fulfillment Method: If you are using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), ensure that your inventory is available and in stock. If you are fulfilling orders yourself, make sure you meet shipping and delivery expectations.
Reviews and Ratings: Products with higher ratings and more positive reviews often appear higher in search results. Encourage customers to leave reviews if they are satisfied with your product.
Browse Nodes: Browse nodes are specific categories or subcategories on Amazon. Make sure your product is listed under the correct browse node. If you're unsure, you can contact Seller Support for guidance on browse node selection.
Allow Time for Indexing: Sometimes, it may take a little time for changes to your product listing to be indexed by Amazon's search engine. Be patient and monitor the search results periodically.
If you've tried these steps and your product is still not showing up in search results, it's essential to contact Amazon Seller Support for further assistance. They can investigate the issue and help ensure your product is visible to potential customers.
