I get sales on my ad campaigns, more sales than actual clicks

I don't understand how I will get 10 sales for a given campaign but 4 clicks? How am I generating sales without people actually clicking on the ad?

Hi @Seller_jlmG6iJnJbDzI,

Here are the two main reasons it happens:

1. Multiple orders from a single click:

Amazon attributes all orders to the last ad click before a purchase, within a 7-day window for Sponsored Products (measured in the campaign manager). So if a customer clicks your ad and then places several separate orders over the next week, all of those sales are tied to that single click. That’s why the number of conversions can end up higher than the total clicks.

2. Clicks filtered as invalid:

Amazon filters out clicks it considers invalid (like bot or accidental clicks). You won’t get charged for those, and they won’t show in your reporting, but if the customer who made that filtered click ends up making a purchase, that sale can still be attributed to your ad.

Hope this helps clear things up!

Best,

Michael
