A glitch in Amazon's third party seller algorithm?

discussion. So I sell exclusively media items as a third party seller on Amazon (books, CDs, DVDs). I have about 600 listings on Amazon and I had 12 orders last week. However, I have had ZERO orders the past 5 days. I find this quite impossible considering the amount of product that I have listed. Does anyone think there's something wrong with Amazon's selling algorithm?

Those numbers sound about in line from what I am seeing.

I have about 4300 active products so between 7 and 8 times your count. I had just under 90 orders the past 14 days which is maybe 50% to 60% of my longer term numbers.

Based on the 7 to 8 times listings your 12 translates to 84 to 96.

Business stinks currently.

If you had twelve orders in one week from 600 listings, that's outstanding.

I am guessing the majority of those were fairly recent listings?

Hi there @Seller_XixfYUbpepRXp- thanks for starting this discussion. It sounds like you are a veteran seller with that many listings, but it may be beneficial to review the listing quality tool to determine if any opportunities exist with the listings!

Hoping sales have picked up since the time of your post! If you do believe a glitch has occurred, I can only recommend connecting with support to surface any issues you've witnessed.

Thanks again,

Danny
