Brand Registered Owner cannot add A+ content due to Retail Contribution REDUX

We’re facing an issue with the ASIN mentioned in Case ID 17315008401. As the rightful brand owner, we’re trying to replace the existing A+ Content, including the 'From the manufacturer' section, with our brand-approved content. However, we receive the error below when trying to do so:

"You are unable to add content to this ASIN because there is an existing retail contribution on this ASIN."

We have a "retail contribution" showing up in the "from the manufacturer" section. We do not have an agreement in place with Amazon for this ASIN, nor do we supply Amazon directly. Previously, another party, sold our product to Amazon.com and supplied Amazon incorrect product information through their Vendor account. However, they are no longer active and have not been for some time. We reached out to them and they told us they have lost access to edit the listing when Amazon stopped buying from them.

We need support in removing the "from the manufacter" section of our offer, since we are the admin/rights owner of the brand, and we cannot update the A+ content for our own ASINS. Amazon's solution seems to be to keep deleting our new A+ content.

Please remove this section so we, as the sole manufacturer and brand owner, can take back control of our brand and content.

In our ticket 17315008401, we reference another ticket for a seller who had the EXACT same issue, and it was resolved. We gave this ticket number to our ticket's chat and they basically told us to kick rocks. @Jim_Amazon gave the solution for Case ID: 16319423811. We used the exact words in our ticket to no avail.

@Michelle_Amazon@Jim_Amazon or any admin that can help, it would be appreciated.

Hello @Seller_ALsrFyYiMpjkk,

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, the reply you received in Case: 17315008401 is correct. As Retail is still selling the item, we will not be able to update it. However, you can update it through your vendor account. The reason they were able to get this corrected for you in Case: 16319423811 is because Retail was no longer selling these items.

If you are selling your items to a vendor who is selling them to Amazon, you will need to control your supply chain if you no longer want Retail to sell your items.

I know this is not the outcome you were looking for, but thank you for your understanding.

Regards,

Michelle

Regards,

Michelle
