I had an account to sell a book I wrote on Amazon. The book got banned so my account just sat there for a few years. Now I want to sell something else. I have a different name but the book is the name of the store. how do I open a new store?

Are you wanting to create a new brand store? If so, you will need to register the brand in brand registry before you can create an Amazon Storefront.
Are you wanting to create another seller account? If so, please review the Comply with Amazon’s Multiple Account policy Seller University video as there are specific instances/parameters that need to be followed in order to have multiple selling accounts.
Are you wanting to just edit your Store name as it appears on Amazon? If so, you can go to "Account Info," in Seller Central (drop down from top right cog wheel) then click on "Your Seller Profile," and finally "Edit," in the store details section in whichever marketplace you are changing.
