Tracking label for child product
I'm confused on the tracking label requirements for child products. I'm working on selling dinnerware intended for children. The CPSC states that the following information must be on the product and the packaging.
Manufacturer or private labeler name;
Location and date of production of the product;
Detailed information on the manufacturing process, such as a batch or run number, or other identifying characteristics; and
Any other information to facilitate ascertaining the specific source of the product.
My issue is are there exceptions to this? Is there some code that you can use instead? I've looked at lots of competitor products and that information is not permanently affixed to their products.

Hi @MunchTins,
Thanks for the post. Please ensure that the brand name is permanently affixed to the product. It can be printed, sewn, laser-etched, or engraved onto items.
Stickers, labels, hung tags, or stamps are not considered permanently affixed since they can be easily added or removed after production.
Best regards and have a good weekend.
