Suspicious buyer activity.

Hello

Looking for some help regarding a customer that keeps ordering products from me then returning the product several weeks later citing accidental order. She then orders the same product in a different size before repeating the same procedure again with this size, before ordering the original size that she returned only a few weeks prior. This happened 7 times now and the previous 2 returns I have not even received back - tracking states 'carrier picked up parcel' but no other tracking entries are listed and tracking has been dormant for several weeks.

I can't keep doing this as I make the products to order and obviously pay for the items to be delivered. I have reached out to the customer but had no response. Nor have I been able to gain any insight from customer support. The latest order I cancelled but obviously can't keep doing that as t affects my seller metrics.

Just wondering if anyone out there had any similar experiences or could offer any advice on how best to handle this.

Thanks In advance!

There isn;t a lot you can do as you can't ban the customer and as you say, you could only cancel orders to the point where your cancellation rate remains under the required percentage.

With regards to the returns you haven't had back - have you checked if the customer was actually refunded for them?

We had it similar with a customer where they kept ordering, then attempting to cancel after a few hours. Eventually, we ignored the cancellation requests and let the orders ship. Eventually, the customer went away.

What are your options?

- Contact the customer on the next return request and politely state the issues this is causing you. You could probably also report them for abuse of the return system

- When you say your products are made to order, do they meet the requirements around amazons return policy on Amazon Custom? Might be worth looking at as it would stop returns full stop!

I had someone who ordered 17 times and cancelled the last 7 orders, I only noticed as I just withdrew my money so the balance was 0, then all of a sudden is was in minus a few hundred.

I haven't checked recently

If they are handmade then you can according to Amazons policies refuse the return, I have pointed out many times that handmade items do not qualify for return,
