Trapped in the Amazon Error Loop: Errors 13013 and 8007
I am utterly appalled by the ongoing issues I have faced while trying to list a few new products on Amazon as a brand owner. Despite my best efforts, I keep encountering errors 13013 and 8007, along with new errors surfacing whenever I attempt to create variations for existing products. Each correction seems to lead me in circles, ultimately crashing the website and leaving me right back where I started.
What’s most infuriating is the sheer waste of time and energy caused by Amazon’s lack of transparency. After spending over 25 hours reaching out to no fewer than seven support specialists, all of whom repeated the same unhelpful advice, I was finally informed by a Brand Support Specialist that the root cause was ongoing technical issues on Amazon's end—issues that have apparently persisted for days.
Had I been informed of this earlier, I could have avoided countless hours of frustration, stress, and wasted effort, not to mention the rising freight costs that continue to escalate while I’m stuck trying to resolve these problems. Instead, I was repeatedly asked to make minor changes, delete listings, wait 24 hours, and try again—a cycle that left me feeling like giving up on Amazon entirely.
The lack of proactive communication from Amazon regarding these technical difficulties is nothing short of callous. It demonstrates a disregard for the time and resources of brand owners who rely on this platform to manage their businesses. I am sharing this experience in the hope of saving others from the same ordeal.
Amazon, I must ask: when will these issues be resolved? And more importantly, what steps will you take to ensure better communication and support for your sellers in the future? We deserve better.

Hi there @Seller_BhllAnP50l7Rd,
I'm sorry you are having difficulties with notifications on technical issues with uploading these parent/child listings. In some instances it can take time before a specific error can be identified as tied to an internal issue, however we try to inform sellers as quickly as possible sometimes even here on the Forum.
If you are still having issues with your uploads will you provide your Case ID so I can review and see what escalation options I can provide. Thank you for your understanding.
