New Account Deactivated
Hello, I’m attempting to reactivate my recently deactivated seller account. I’ve already submitted proof of my address and provided my debit card. However, I’ve come across information online suggesting that AmazonSeller only accepts credit cards, not debit cards. I need clarification: Is it necessary to submit a credit card for my account reactivation? Or could changing my debit card to a credit card raise suspicion and potentially lead to account closure? I’ve read about other new seller accounts being banned for making this switch.

Yes, it must be a true credit card; not a debit card. Amazon will charge that debit card for any money owing at payout time, but it still will not be accepted to activate your selling account.
Easiest way to add / change that card is to first add it to the buying side of your account. Then just wait a couple of hours, and go to the selling side and you should be able to just choose that card.

Hello @Seller_YT5zMAd5OfWvH
This is Saeid from Amazon to help you with your concerns.
Thank you for using the seller forum, as I see your account has been deactivated, and we have asked you to provide proof of address and to provide a bank card. I understand that you have questions about whether we accept debit or credit cards only.
According to our Bank account and credit or debit card information for your seller account help page, We accept the following credit or debit cards:
American Express
Diners Club
Discover
JCB
MasterCard
Visa
If your debit card is valid, you don't need to change cards. You cannot delete the credit or debit card that you designated as your primary payment method, but you can add a new card or select a different card from the list of cards you have entered in your seller account. You can also designate another card as your primary payment method, in order to delete your former primary payment method.
If your account hasn't been reactivated, it could be that your address hasn't been verified. Does the utility bill you provided match your name and registered address in seller central?
Please made sure your UB provided meet the following requirements:
It must contain the following information: your name and address, the service provider's name and additional information such as date of issue and due date, service provider's address, service provider's logo, and usage details if applicable.
-- Your name and address must be visible and match the name and address that you entered in Seller Central.
-- It must have been issued in the last 90 days.
