Delete your ASIN but it "will not affect your ASIN sales history"?!
We've probably all seen this type of response from Amazon:

They basically give up trying to help you update a listing and tell you instead delete it for 24-hours before relisting.
Fair enough that it doesn't impact your review count. If you do leave it as stranded inventory for too long, then you will have inventory issues, but it's a mute point for the most part.
But to say it doesn't impact ASIN sales history is rather odd. You're literally not selling the product for 24-hours. Does that not become a historical fact? All seems strange.
