Refund Error
We are receiving an error message when trying to refund a customer. I see a few other posts on this but nothing with a resolution. When trying to refund the order, either through the Manage Orders page or the Manage Refunds page, we get a page with error message "System Error. There was a system error. Please try again in 15 minutes. "
We have tried on multiple computers, different browsers, even different logins to our selling account. They all produce the same error page for the last 3 days. We are not seeing this issue with other orders, just the one order. The customer obviously wants their refund, and we don't want this to affect our account metrics since it's clearly a technical issue.

When processing a refund, a system error sometimes occurs because Amazon cannot successfully refund the original payment method. Common reasons include attempting to refund an expired or compromised credit card. Since Amazon handles all order payment transactions, this issue is out of the seller's control. If you have a case number, please provide it so I can investigate further.
