Amazon Allows FAKE Unverified 1-Star Review That Violates Policy – No Action After Multiple Reports

I'm posting here because Amazon has completely failed to act on a clear and damaging violation of its own review policies — and it’s directly hurting my business.

On April 20, 2025, an unverified 1-star review was posted on my listing:

Marketplace: Amazon.ca

The reviewer NEVER purchased the product.

The review includes no factual experience, misleads customers, and is clearly inauthentic.

I followed all required procedures:

Used the Report Abuse form in Seller Central and Brand Registry

Referenced Amazon’s own policy on reviews

Submitted multiple support cases with attached proof the reviewer never ordered the product

And yet… nothing. No removal. No explanation. No resolution.

Meanwhile, my listing is suffering from reduced visibility, decreased conversions, and lost revenue — all because Amazon refuses to enforce its own review policies.

This kind of inaction undermines trust in the platform and punishes sellers who follow the rules. If fake and unverified reviews are allowed to stand, what message is Amazon sending to legitimate businesses?
