Unjust Safe-T Claim Denial—Need Advice and Similar Experiences!

Hello fellow sellers,

I’m dealing with a puzzling situation and could use your insights. I had a Safe-T claim denied under circumstances that I believe clearly warranted approval:

  • Order Details: An order was delivered, and after two months, a refund was issued by Amazon without a return request from the customer.
  • Claim Basis: The refund fell outside the standard return timeframe, and no return was initiated. It seems to fit the criteria for a Safe-T claim under "refund issued after the return window" and "refund without a return."
  • Amazon’s Response: The claim was denied with the reason that the item is non-returnable. However, this contradicts my previous experiences where similar returns were accepted for orders with the same item and placed on same date. I've included screenshots of processed returns for the same item around the same dates as evidence.

Has anyone faced similar issues with denied safety claims that seemed justifiable? How did you address it with Amazon, and what response did you get?
